iki vs raindrop

A bookmark remembers the address. A library remembers what it said.

Raindrop may be the best pure bookmark manager there is, with a free plan so generous it barely needs the paid one. IKI does a different job: it keeps what the page said, on your phone, as files.

Raindrop is for people who collect links and want them organised everywhere: browser extensions, Android, Windows and the web, all synced through its cloud. It does that job very well and prices it fairly. IKI starts where a bookmark stops. It fetches the page, reads it with on-device AI, sums it up in a card and files the whole thing as markdown on your iPhone. It also reads what you save beyond links: videos, voice notes and screenshots. One tool remembers that you found something, and the other remembers what you found. Plenty of people use both.
